The Submitters allege that Peru has not effectively enforced environmental legislation due to the illegal granting of forty-seven (47) forest concessions in the Indigenous Reserve Yavarí Tapiche and in the requested Indigenous Reserve Yavarí Mirim, in contravention of the express prohibition established in the Forest and Wildlife Law (Law No. 29763) and its Regulations.
